DDS Holdings Database
The DDS Title Search database contains serials currently
received at Chemical Abstracts Service and nonserials whose
publication date is within the past ten years. DDS Title Search
provides only the full title of a publication. For additional
bibliographic information as well as a larger database of all
titles ever covered in CAS products and services, please consult
the CAS Source
Index (CASSI) (print or CD-ROM).
The Document Detective Service (DDS) cannot guarantee the
availability of every title (or specific issues of a serial) even
though a title is found in the DDS Title Search.
Search Hints
A keyword search will look for any number of substrings in
the full title of the serial, and the search is case insensitive.
For example, a search of 'chimica' will produce a hit list including
the titles, Chimica Oggi, Thermochimica Acta, etc.
Multiple search strings separated by spaces create an implied
'and' operator.
A CODEN search may be done on the full 6 digit CODEN (ex.,
JACSAT or jacsat). An ISSN search may be done on the
exact ISSN without hyphens (ex., 00027863).
An ISBN search may be done on the exact ISBN with
hyphens (ex., 0-306-46185-4, 0-89054-242-2, 90-220-0979-3).
