Introduction

CA on CD's Word Search feature gives you the option to define how search terms will be combined in the search process.

Description

Boolean operators are special qualifying words used between terms to make a search more or less comprehensive.

Boolean operators and their functions are given in the following table:

Requires that answers have

(Default)

Connect terms representing different aspects of your search

Both of the connected terms

OR

Connect synonymous terms

At least one of the connected terms

NOT

Eliminate a term

The first of the connected terms but NOT the second
