With CASSI on CD, you get the same complete bibliographic information provided by the printed CAS Source Index (CASSI), but you can get it even quicker with electronic searching.

You need CASSI on CD when you are ready to request copies of an original document that you have identified by searching CA or the CAS databases but:

• You do not recognize the publication title you need from the abbreviation cited in CA
• The journal you want is published in a non-English language, making its title abbreviation to be even more difficult to decipher
