CASSI on CD System Requirements

Microsoft Windows

• Computer: Windows compatible 386 or later
• Operating System: MS-DOS version 3.3 or later: Windows 3.1x, 95/98, or NT 4.0
• Memory: 4 MB RAM memory or more
• CD-ROM Drive: Windows compatible with appropriate interface card (MS-DOS Extensions 2.21 or later, e.g., MSCDEX)
• Printer (optional): Windows compatible
• Hard Disk: 1 MB

DOS

• Computer: IBM or compatible
• Operating System: MS-DOS 3.3 or later
• Monitor: CGA, EGA, or VGA displaying 24 lines of 80 characters in text mode
• CD-ROM Drive: IBM compatible with appropriate device driver and interface card
• Printer (optional): IBM compatible connected via LPT1 or LPT2
• Memory: 512 KB or more of conventional memory
• Hard Disk: Approximately 500 KB of disk space for CASSI on CD software. Additional space is required to save retrieved text
