Accessing STN Viewer
Supported web browsers:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer, Version 6.0 or higher
- Mozilla Firefox, Version 1.0 or higher
To use STN Viewer:
- Conduct a search in STN Express, Version 8.2 or higher, in one or more patent-containing databases. For additional information about updating STN Express Support Files (automatically or manually) see the Help files for STN Express V8.4 or V8.5, or the License and Download site at https://casweb.cas.org/stnexpress/html/english/login.html
- Click an L-number or a patent number from a displayed patent record and select Evaluate with STN Viewer
When Evaluate with STN Viewer is selected, patent documents are retrieved from STN full-text patent databases and sent to STN Viewer, launched in your default web browser. You can also create your answer set with STN on the Web and use the STN Viewer Assistant to send patent documents to STN Viewer.
Existing patent projects in STN Viewer may be accessed directly via the web.
