CAS Academic Program for STN Pricing
Colleges and universities offering a doctoral degree or its equivalent in chemistry or related sciences must maintain a subscription to full-service Chemical Abstracts (issues and indexes) in print or subscribe to SciFinder Scholar, CA on CD, or CA in microform to qualify for the academic discount. These participants are eligible for an 80% discount on the standard CAS databases and a 90% discount on the CAS learning databases at the subscribing location. Colleges and universities that do not offer doctoral degrees in chemistry or related sciences are eligible for a 90% discount on all of the databases offered through the CAS Academic Program for STN and are not required to subscribe to full-service Chemical Abstracts (issues and indexes). The CAS Academic Program for STN discount applies only to the following CAS databases:
