How to... Categorize your reference answer set

Categorize is another powerful, but easy-to-use search tool.  It can save you time because it helps you quickly sort and evaluate the content of your answers.

1.

To activate the Categorize tool from your set of references, click Analyze/Refine.

2. Click Categorize.

2.

Select a category of interest from the left column, and then select the CA index terms from the right-hand column.  Click Get References.

Tips

You may select only one category at a time--automatically cancelling a prior selection.  CA index terms from the right-hand column, however, are maintained cumulatively until you either deselect them or click Get References.  To keep track of the CA index terms that you have selected, a running tally is provided at the bottom of the screen, i.e., 26 terms selected from 2 categories.  Click Review Selected Terms to see the details.

Review your list of references and select a reference of interest to view the abstract.
