Introduction

This topic identifies a strategy for finding polymer classes by Research Topic.

Definition

Polymer classes are broad groups of polymers with particular structural characteristics.  Polymer classes include:

  • Acrylic acid polymers
  • Extruded plastics
  • Isoprene rubber

Locating research papers about a polymer class of interest is a two-step process:

  1. Locate general research on the polymer class.
  2. Refine results based on the application of interest.
Example Locate acrylic polymers used as coating materials.
